Sales Policy

After reading the below policies we would be happy to receive your deposit.  By sending the deposit that means you agree with the following policies.

A 50% deposit is required to hold a bunny - it needs to be made through Zelle or Facebook Pay.  This deposit is NONREFUNDABLE, so please be sure you are certain you want the rabbit. If you change your mind after you send a deposit - you DO NOT get your deposit back.  After a deposit is made, we will update the website and mark your bunny as sold.  There is a $20 charge if you decide to change your mind and switch to a different bunny after it is taken off the website - it’s a hassle to re-list the bunnies on each website.   After making the deposit bunnies can be held for 7 days after their available date without an additional charge.  After 7 days there will be a $5/ per-day for food and care until the bunny is picked up.

The welfare of bunnies is not our responsibility once they leave our care.  We do our best to give each baby the best chance to have a long and full life, and so much depends on how well you transition them to their new home.

Our rabbitry is a closed one, which means it's not open for tours like a pet store. You can pick up your bunny when you arrive here.  If you are unable to drive directly here, we can drive to meet you for a cost of $2.50/ per-mile up to 50 miles.

We reserve the right to cancel a sale at any time for any reason.

Sadly I have seen cases where a breeder misgenders a rabbit, which can add extreme complications.  We DO guarantee the gender of the rabbits we send home.  There will be no doubt that the Bucks are Bucks, and the Does are Does.

Please plan to bring something to safely transport your bunny, such as a carrier or a box.  It is much safer for you and your bunny alike on the ride home.

The photos on our site are taken generally when the bunny is 4 weeks old, and again when they are around 7 weeks old.  They do continue to grow, so when you pick up your bunny it will be larger than it is in the photo.  We do not take additional photos of the babies, as each photoshoot can be stressful.  Stress can kill a baby rabbit, so we do not take additional photoshoots.  Thank you for your understanding.

We will also send home the pelleted food they are used to eating - it will be enough to get them transferred to your pellet.  Bunnies under 6 months CANNOT have veggies, fruit, grass, or any food treats. They can kill your bunny!!!! Before bunnies reach 6 months of age they cannot digest fruits and veggies properly.

Stress is a very big item to be aware of.  When the baby leaves the rabbitry - they are already stressed.  It is natural because they do not know you, your home, or the cage you are going to put him/her into.  When you get your new baby home, please leave him/her in one room of your home for the first week.  Let the bunny get used to your sights, sounds, smells, etc.  Please do not introduce any other pets for the first 7 days.  Once the 7 days have passed, you can introduce them to other areas of the house and pets slowly.

We handle our rabbits daily.  As such all of our rabbits have good temperaments.  We will not sell any animal that shows signs of aggression or biting.  We cannot guarantee personality, fertility, or promise of wins on the show table.  We cannot know for sure what a baby will look like as a senior or how much it will weigh.  For this reason, it is up to you as the buyer to do your homework on the breed you are buying and make sure you know what you are buying.  We strive to offer the best quality for the bunnies we are raising.

WHAT SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED...

* Cage or rabbit hutch. A lot of people ask me what size they will need. My only advice is this: It depends on the amount of time that your bunny will spend outside its cage. If the bunny gets lots of exercise every day outside, you can get by with a smaller cage.  Our rabbits are used to having enough space to run in a circle inside their cages.

* Water bowl or water bottle or both. I have all the babies drinking out of water bottles. They will convert to a bowl easily if need be.

* Rabbit feeder or food dish.

* Rabbit pellet feed (please try to find a complete feed that is greenish brownish)

* Timothy hay and hay feeder

* A piece of 2x4 wood for chewing to keep the teeth healthy or wooden toys from a pet store

* Bedding - We do use bedding, but some cages do not require bedding (wire bottoms). Paper, or corn cob bedding is good as well.

* Litter pan (optional) (go with the cat size - NOT the smaller corner one)

* Slicker brush for grooming (not much grooming is required)

* Pet nail clippers

* Toys - bunnies LOVE to play!

* For treats you can use plain Cheerios and/or Quaker oats!
